How the course is built
Each course is shaped around your due date, your chosen hospital and how much you already know. Couples usually book four to six sessions of 75–90 minutes, spread across the third trimester, with your partner fully included as an active birth companion.
Labour physiology
What your body actually does across each stage of labour, how to read contractions, positions and movement that help progress, and breathing and coping techniques you can rehearse together.
Pain management options
A clear, unbiased comparison of non-pharmacological tools, nitrous oxide and epidural analgesia as they are offered in Veneto hospitals — including when to ask, and what timing is realistic.
Hospital procedures in Italy
Admission, triage, monitoring, consent, who is allowed in the room, caesarean pathways and the postnatal ward routine at Borgo Trento and Borgo Roma, so nothing on the day is a surprise.
Postpartum readiness
The first 72 hours and the first six weeks: feeding, newborn behaviour and sleep, pelvic-floor basics, mood and recovery, plus the paperwork you need to register the birth in Italy.
Built for international families
Language should never be the reason you feel unprepared. Sessions run entirely in English (German, French and Italian are also available), medical vocabulary is taught in both languages, and we prepare a bilingual birth plan you can hand to the midwives on arrival. If you are moving to Italy mid-pregnancy, we also map out registration with the SSN, your tessera sanitaria and which appointments matter.
Formats and coverage
Small group workshops (max 5 couples) run in Verona city. Private VIP sessions take place at your home in Verona, Bardolino, Lazise, Peschiera, Sirmione or Desenzano, or online in your time zone if you are relocating before the birth.
